What You Learn
Ed.S in School Superintendency will prepare aspiring district administrators with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage today’s complex k-12 schools at the district leadership level. Courses are taught by professional administrators, with an emphasis on real-world experiences. This approach prepares building principals to address student and staff issues in an inclusive and productive manner creating a learning environment that serves all students. This program contains the coursework required for DESE certification.
How You Learn
Majority of the courses are all online asynchronous format, with no weekly class meetings required. Classes with a field-based experience embedded may require online synchronous weekly class meetings. You will finish one 3-6 credit hours every 8 weeks.
Signature Assessments will be in each course along with data collected from instructors, site supervisors and mentors for all field work. A final portfolio will be assessed in the final internship course.
