What You Learn
As a student, you will gain the confidence to teach the Nebraska Computer Science and Technology Standards, while developing advanced skills in curriculum design, instructional strategies, and assessment. Coursework focuses on integrating computer science concepts into K–12 learning environments, aligning instruction to standards, and effectively teaching technology-related content to diverse learners.
How You Learn
The program is delivered entirely online in an asynchronous format, allowing students to complete coursework on their own schedule while meeting weekly deadlines. Students are encouraged to log into their portal regularly throughout each week to stay current on assignments, announcements, and communication with instructors and classmates. Courses are typically completed one at a time in 8-week terms, though alternative scheduling options may be available.
