What You Learn
In this program, you will build foundational teaching skills alongside specialized training in Special Education. Coursework includes instructional strategies, classroom management, assessment, and individualized education planning, along with supervised student teaching experiences.
How You Learn
The program is delivered entirely online in an asynchronous format, allowing students to complete coursework on their own schedule while meeting weekly deadlines. Students are encouraged to log into their portal regularly throughout each week to stay current on assignments, announcements, and communication with instructors and classmates. Courses are typically completed one at a time in 8-week terms, though alternative scheduling options may be available.
