Concordia’s Master of Arts in Teaching is for individuals who want to earn their initial teaching license (K-6).
The Master of Arts in Education degree with initial teaching certification is for individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree with content courses in a certifiable major who wish to become a teacher. The subject area(s) in which you are eligible for certification will depend on the previous coursework you have completed as a part of your bachelor’s degree.
The program is intended for those who have demonstrated content expertise in one of the teaching areas for middle grades (4-8), secondary (6-12), and all P-12 fields (except special education) and would now like to become certified to teach that subject.
The Master of Arts in Education in Teaching and Learning is designed for current educators who desire to deepen their understanding of curriculum, instruction, and assessment theory through a practitioner’s lens.
The program emphasizes development of core competencies in instructional planning, delivery and assessment and support for diversity in educational settings.
This program is designed to prepare qualified professionals for teaching in a high school setting.

This is a dual certification program designed to prepare college graduates who wish to enter the teaching profession but who have not had adequate preparation for teaching.
The Online Teaching Endorsement is designed for post-baccalaureate candidates that have an Instructional I or Instructional II Pennsylvania teaching certificate. This program will prepare teachers to design and deliver blended and online courses to teachers in grades K-12.
For certified teachers who wish to enhance their understanding of how gifted learners grow and develop in order to design and teach developmentally appropriate and challenging learning experiences.
For candidates who seek the knowledge, skills, and dispositions to become effective online teachers. Candidates must hold a Georgia professional T-4 certificate or higher.
For current elementary or secondary science, math, or industrial technology teachers who desire to gain expertise in teaching science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and/or interdisciplinary STEM teaching and instructional coaching.
