The program was very convenient for me because the location of the cohort was close to work and home. Classes were in a small setting, the program was very supportive in getting everyone in the cohort through the program. Whenever there was a question with courses, registrar office, and financial payments, everyone in their respective department were willing to assist. Towards the end of the program, we conducted mock interviews which helped me interview for my current position as an assistant principal for student services. I met some wonderful people in the program, we became a support group for each other and we would often notify each other if there were positions open for counseling.

I am currently in the online Master of Arts in Education (M.A.ED.) for Curriculum and Instruction program at Concordia University Irvine, slated for completion in June 2020, and I love this format. The program is well organized and the instructors are knowledgeable and so helpful. The text books are well chosen and support the course learning. I like how the capstone project is written and completed over two courses with constant input and suggested revisions as you progress. I would highly recommend this online program to anyone who is already working in career and may already have a family to care for.
