What You Learn
Prepare to teach and inspire the next generation of business leaders with Molloy University’s online Master of Science in Business and Marketing Education. This 30-credit graduate degree provides a clear path to New York State (NYS) business teacher certification, blending practical pedagogy with contemporary concepts.
This program was created in response to the regional shortage of qualified business teachers. The curriculum combines graduate-level business coursework, evidence-based pedagogy, and applied field experiences. You’ll study instructional design, business communication, digital marketing, and classroom innovation while benefiting from Molloy’s small-class mentorship and personalized advisement.
Gain real-world teaching experience through fieldwork, practicum, and supervised student teaching in approved New York school districts. Early field experiences allow you to observe and assist in classrooms before taking on full teaching responsibilities. Workshops and advising guide you through each step of NYSED certification, including fingerprinting and the CST exam.
How You Learn
The program is delivered entirely online, designed for working professionals balancing careers and other commitments. Courses are offered in both traditional and accelerated seven-week formats, with optional summer sessions that allow you to earn credits in just five weeks.
