As a District Administrator (Superintendent), you will play a pivotal role in shaping educational policies, implementing innovative strategies, and building collaborative partnerships to ensure the best possible learning environment for students.
This program is designed for those who hold a master’s degree in education and currently hold (or are eligible for) a Wisconsin Principal (#5051) license. If you are looking to make a difference in your school district, consider receiving your Superintendent licensure.

Through hands-on experiences, internships, and practical projects, you’ll seamlessly bridge theory with real-world application, preparing for the dynamic challenges of educational leadership and knowledge needed to navigate the complex challenges of leading a school district effectively.

How You Learn
Class sizes are small to provide individualized attention during 8-week course sessions.
- Online courses are the primary format. You take at a time that works for you.
- Select courses will be taken in real-time via zoom on a scheduled night of the week with the professor and other students.
**Residency Component: Required face-to-face meeting on first and last Saturday of course. This is a virtual meeting; nothing is done in person.

Upon completion of this program, you will not only meet the rigorous Wisconsin Administrator Standards required for the district administrator role but will also be well-prepared to recognize and address the complex social, political, and economic dynamics impacting school districts and communities. This encompasses proficient delegation of authority, proactive curriculum development, adept data analysis, strategic planning, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders and the broader community.
