Experienced educators who are interested in adding special education as a teaching field and who hold a general education teaching certificate.

What You Learn

The program is designed to provide individuals with an opportunity to acquire knowledge and practical experience to become highly qualified teachers in the area of Special Education/Exceptionality.

How You Learn

Online: This is an online cohort program. Students will check in online to complete assignments and participate in online discussions and group activities. While there are no face-to-face requirements, some live online sessions and/or conference call sessions may be required. Students will finish two courses every 15 weeks.

Career Outcomes

Upon completion of the program, students will earn a Master of Education degree in Special Education.


Candidates for this program will be experienced teachers.
