What You Learn
Educational Technology has been immersed in all classes since the introduction of the 1:1 initiative. Using advanced integration models such as Universal Design for Learning (UDL), Technology Pedagogy and Content Knowledge (TPACK), and the Substitution Augmentation Modification Redefinition (SAMR) model, teachers are well prepared to design, develop, and improve their teaching and learning for their students. Our program provides candidates the means to be New York State Certified as an Educational Technology Specialist to both certified teachers and bachelorette candidates an initial certification.

Career Outcomes
Upon completion of the program, students will receive their Master’s in Science and eligibility for their Initial Certification for Educational Technology in the state of New York, taking on professional roles in areas such as Teachers of Educational Technology, STEM Teachers and Coordinators, Instructional Designers for Technology, Online and Hybrid PreK-12 Teachers.
