In this innovative program, participants diversify their teaching to create meaningful learning experiences and environments. The 36-credit curriculum emphasizes education, technology, instructional design, and leadership. The core curriculum examines compelling topics in education policy, digital age technology planning, systems design/design thinking, data-driven decision making, and educational media and technology.

How You Learn
The Teacher as Leader in Technology program offers courses that are delivered at times of the day that are convenient to full-time work schedules. This program is offered in completely online format with self- paced content as well as live class meetings using our web platform where you attend from the location of your choice.
Online Option: This is a fully online cohort during which you are required to sign in and actively participate. These online class meetings will be supplemented by additional online activities which may include assignments, webinars or chats, materials, discussion threads, assessments and/or group activities completed electronically outside of class. You will finish one course every 8 weeks.
Graduates leave the program equipped with the skills necessary for a variety of careers in education, including technology coordinator, educational technology specialist, technology teacher, and college instructor.
