What You Learn
The basic tenet of the Instructional Technology endorsement is to empower you to improve the use of technology in your classroom, school, and district. Through research, data collection, assessment, and practice, you will learn to effectively identify and use research-based practices, and technology tools and resources to improve your own technology expertise, and to lead others in using appropriate technology, to improve student learning and teacher productivity.
How You Learn
This is a fully online cohort. Face-to-face class meetings are not required. You will log in to the online classroom to participate in online activities which may include webinars, chats, and/or group discussions/activities, and to access materials and complete assignments electronically. You will finish one course every 7 and one-half weeks.
Career Outcomes
Upon completion of this program, students will receive the Instructional Computer Technology endorsement for grades P-12. There is no PRAXIS required to earn this endorsement. You will enhance your classroom technology knowledge and skills, be qualified to teach computer-related courses, serve as a technology resource teacher, or become a school, district, or state technology leader.
