"Through the Learning Behavior Disorders program at Georgetown College, I gained a great deal of teaching experience and skills. I learned how to work with students from various backgrounds and with various disabilities and behaviors. I learned how to differentiate to meet the needs of various learners."
Attending Georgetown College’s Master degree program was the most beneficial learning I have experienced. The courses are designed in such a way that one leads into another and culminate during the last semester when all knowledge from the program are utilized in an in depth research study. I learned a lot about being a leader and a teacher.
My classes and professors in the Georgetown College EL Master's program not only prepared me to design and implement instruction that my English Learners would need, but they also helped foster a greater appreciation for the diverse cultures and backgrounds of my students and their families.
