Payment Options
We know that paying for your graduate degree is an important factor when choosing a school. Contact the Graduate Information Office to talk more about the key factors to consider – or, read on to learn about the different ways you can finance your graduate degree.
Financial Aid Process
Applying for Financial Aid
Complete all steps below to apply for financial aid.
Note: There are financial aid options that are not based on need.
Most students in our graduate programs use financial aid to pay for their program. We recommend that you complete these steps as soon as possible to make sure that your payment arrangements are in order by the first night of class. For help, please contact the Financial Aid Office at (617) 333-2354 or fin-aid@curry.edu.
Go to studentaid.gov to apply for a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to apply for a FSA ID.
File a FAFSA
Go to studentaid.gov to file the FAFSA. To ensure that we will receive your information you must enter Curry College’s Federal School Code of 002143 in step six of the online form. After Curry College receives your information, additional documentation may be required. The most common request is due to a process called verification. Verification is a process for confirming information reported on the FAFSA. It involves the collection and review of additional documents specified by the Department of Education. Student Financial Services will reach out to the student through email and regular mail with requests for specific documents to complete the verification process. You will be notified by email. If you intend to use financial aid to pay the tuition, it is recommended that students complete the FAFSA no later than two weeks prior to starting classes.
File Financial Aid Enrollment Form
You will need to complete an Enrollment Information Form in order for Curry to determine your eligibility for financial aid.
Curry College will mail your financial aid package
Once your FAFSA is complete and you have been admitted to a degree program, a financial aid award package will be mailed to you detailing the types of aid and amounts for which you are eligible. If you receive any type of outside financial assistance, you must inform Student Financial Services.
Register for Classes
After you receive your financial aid award, please contact the Division of Continuing Education and Graduate Studies to register for classes. Academic advisors are available to assist you with selecting courses.
Questions? Contact the Financial Aid Office at (617) 333-2354 or fin-aid@curry.edu .
Federal Loan Requirements
To be eligible to borrow funds under the Federal Direct Loan Program, you must:
- File the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
- Not be in default on prior educational loans
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
Deferred Payment and Payment Plans
Deferred payment option is available to continuing education students who are pursuing a degree program and can demonstrate that they have a tuition reimbursement benefit through their employer or the government. Students who qualify may pay their tuition at the end of each course, rather than upon registration. Students in this category are responsible for payment, and tuition may not be left unpaid pending reimbursement by an employer or other agency. Please contact the Continuing and Graduate Studies Office for further details and to complete a Deferred Payment Request Form. Graduate students may be eligible for a payment plan. Please login to curry.myflywire.com to review plan options.
To pay online, visit our Secure Flywire Website. Students can also access this online payment gateway directly from the Curry Web Portal. Credit and debit card transactions will have a convenience fee applied. A transfer payment from a bank checking or savings account will not incur a convenience fee.
If you prefer to pay Curry directly by personal check, money order, or traveler’s check please make payable to Curry College and mail to:

The Federal (Title One) Teacher Loan Forgiveness Program
If you and your school qualify, this program may provide loan forgiveness for eligible Federal Direct Loans. This is a separate program requiring separate forms and processes. The U.S. Department of Education will determine your eligibility for this program; Curry College is not responsible to verify your eligibility for this program. Please do not base your enrollment on this program, as it can be difficult to ensure qualification for government programs which are subject to reform and funding changes
You must call 1-800-4-FED-AID to verify your eligibility or visit https://studentaid.gov/sa/repay-loans/forgiveness-cancellation/teacher for an application.
The TEACH Grant
The Teacher Education Assistant for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant Program provides up to $3,772 a year in grant assistance to students who are completing coursework towards certain high-need fields. In order to be eligible for a grant, a student must submit a FAFSA form and sign an Agreement to Serve as a full-time teacher at certain low-income schools and within certain high-need fields for at least four academic years within eight years after completing (or ceasing enrollment in) the course of study for which the candidate received a grant. Candidates must have at least a 3.25 GPA from undergraduate study and maintained a 3.25 throughout the academic program for which the TEACH Grant is received. The U.S. Department of Education and Student Financial Services Office will determine your eligibility for this program. The TEACH Grant converts to an unsubsidized Direct Loan if the student fails to complete any part of his or her obligation. This loan, plus interest, must be repaid.
