What You Learn
Gain the awareness to look at mathematics through the lens of a student so that you can make math accessible and applicable to your 4th – 12th grade students. This program will help you to facilitate vibrant classrooms where students deepen their procedural and conceptual understanding of a wide variety of mathematical topics.
How You Learn
- 100% Online
- Students take three successive 8-week sessions within each semester.
- Students that want to complete the program in three years will need to take two courses at the same time during an 8-week session. This would be a total of six credits as each course is three credits.
Career Outcomes
You will enhance your fundamental knowledge of math to establish your teaching career in math. Develop teaching skills to implement effective math teaching practices in the classroom. Our experienced faculty will teach you how to navigate different math curriculums and connect the concepts of mathematics for all learners. You will earn your bachelor’s in education AND a valid Wisconsin license to teach 4th – 12th grades.
