Application for Admission
Complete and submit the application for the program you are applying to by clicking the appropriate button. You will be required to create a username and password to begin the process.
Please click the button to submit your non-refundable $50 application fee. This button will take you directly to Concordia’s secure online payment form.
Official transcripts are required from your degree-granting institution(s) listed on your application, and any stand-alone master’s level coursework. Doctoral students are required to submit their bachelor’s and master’s level transcripts.

Resume or Curriculum Vitae
Letter of Intent
This letter should address how your professional experience and career goals relate to graduate study. This should be two to three pages in length.
Employer Support Form
Employer Support Form or a letter from applicant’s employer indicating support for the candidate’s pursuit of the EdD, willingness to allow candidate to conduct field work in the organization (if a school district), and flexibility in work schedule so that the candidate can conduct approved field work.
Sample of Scholarly Writing
Submit a sample of scholarly writing you have completed in the past. APA formatted Master’s research is preferred.
Letters of Recommendation
Applicants will need to submit 3 letters of recommendation. You will need to submit recommendations from your Present supervisor, Academic/ Professor, and Co-worker/ Professional Peer. If you enter the contact information into your application, we will submit the online recommendation request for you.
Applicants for the Educational Administration with Principal as an Instructional Leader Certification Option, Advanced Literacy with Reading Specialist Certification, and EdD in Educational Administration with Superintendent Certification Option programs are required to submit a service record. The service record should say position held and show the number of years and days employed. Applicants can obtain their record from the district where they are currently employed.
