Application for Graduate Admission & Application Fee

Complete and submit the cohort application and $30 non-refunable application fee by clicking the button.

Financial Aid & Payment Options

Determine how you plan to pay for the program: Financial Aid or Pay-As-You-Go.

If using Financial Aid, Complete the FAFSA online. It is in your best interest to complete the financial aid process as early as possible.

If using a Pay-As-You-Go plan, click the button for more information.

Official Transcripts

Barry University requires transcripts from your most recent degree. Further instructions can be found by clicking the button.

Note: If your official transcripts have not been submitted prior to the beginning of your first course, you will be required to submit an unofficial copy of your transcript with your degree showing the GPA in order to receive “admitted to class” status.

Letters of Recommendation

For electronic submission, log into your myBarry account and complete the Letter of Recommendation request, or request that two letters of recommendation be completed on your behalf using the forms on Pages 9 & 10 of the Student Information Packet.

Statement of Purpose

If you have not completed your statement of purpose as part of your online application (Step 1) you may upload a copy by clicking the button.

ONLY if GPA is Below 3.0: Request Official Test Scores

If you are applying to a Master’s degree program and your GPA is less than 3.0, please request that your official score from either the Miller Analogies Test (MAT) or Graduate Record Exam (GRE) be sent to Barry University. A GRE or MAT test score is required for EdS Reading applicants only if their Master’s GPA is below 3.25. EdS applicants for other programs are not required to submit official test scores. The GRE or MAT is currently required for admission into the SSP portion of School Psychology.

NOTE for Master’s Candidates: If your undergraduate GPA is 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, Barry University will waive the test score requirement and you will not be required to submit a score for the GRE or MAT.
NOTE for EdS in Reading Candidates: If your master’s GPA is 3.25 or higher on a 4.0 scale, Barry University will waive the test score requirement and you will not be required to submit a score for the GRE or MAT.

Copy of Teaching Certificate

Please submit a copy of your current Florida Professional Educator's Certificate. Non-certified teachers must take the non-certification track of the programs.
